The Interstride University Rankings highlight over 170 U.S. universities based on indicators of international student employability outcomes.
Interstride relied on publicly available data from the U.S. government for each ranking.

Data from the DOL shows:
The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), a part of the Department of Education, publishes a dataset, the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), that shows:
This ranking relied on data from ICE and IPEDS. Every year, ICE publishes a report on the number of F-1 students through the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS). The percentage measures the proportion of students who are international at a given school, as reported by IPEDS.
This ranking relied on data from ICE and IPEDS. The percentage measures the proportion of international students from the Class of 2020 who worked in the U.S. under OPT in 2021.
This ranking relied on data from ICE and IPEDS. The percentage measures the proportion of international students from the Class of 2020 and 2019 who worked in the U.S. under OPT STEM extension in 2021.
This ranking relied on data from ICE and the DOL. The percentage measures the proportion of international students at a university (over a five-year average) that successfully received a green card in 2021.
One limitation is the use of the five-year average. While there is a typical timeline for when international students and graduates are employed on OPT (within 12 months after graduation) and OPT STEM Extension (within 24 months after OPT), the timeline is more varied for green cards. Former international students may receive a green card right after graduation, OPT, STEM OPT, H-1B, L-1, and a variety of visa statuses at various stages of their careers.
